Bartenders for the night needed- We are seeking volunteers to assist with ID checks, beer sales, and tent management for our beer tent throughout the summer. 

All events are at A.K. Bissell Park in Oak Ridge.

Project Period Packing Party
Help assemble feminine hygiene kits that will be distributed to individuals in need throughout our community. Supplies provided. Flexible group size.

Keystone Adult Daycare Projects

Support Keystone by cleaning their gazebo and assisting with small indoor projects such as moving chairs or organizing supplies. This is a hands-on opportunity to make a big difference for staff and clients. Cleaning supplies provided.

We have three opportunities for Day of Caring on Friday, September 12. Volunteers can sign up for one or more projects:

ADFAC Home Repair & Yard Work

Join a small team to support a homeowner by re-securing gutters and completing light yard work such as trimming bushes, pulling weeds, and mulching. Tools provided where possible; volunteers are encouraged to bring battery-powered drills or trimmers if available. Estimated time: 2–3 hours.

Our Resource Volunteers serve as someones direct line of comfort in difficult situations. These volunteers connect individuals in need wiht the community resources that can help them. Using our resource guide, this role listens with care, assesses the need, and guides callers to appropriate local services- whether it's food assistance, housing support, or health resources. While this can be done remotely, we welcome volunteers who can come to the office for an hour or two - once or twice a week to foster connection and collaboration. This volunteer opportunity can be flexible with your schedule however, this is better suited for someone looking for a long term flexible volunteer commitment than a one time service opportunity.
