Aging with Pride is a volunteer-powered community initiative building a more affirming, connected, and resource-rich region for LGBTQ+ older adults, caregivers and families. This event is designed to connect people with trusted resources, practical education, and ongoing support. Volunteers are the heart of this work, helping create a welcoming experience and strengthening long-term community connections beyond the event.
We need:
- 4 people to set up tables and chairs - please arrive at 7:00 a.m.
- 3 parking attendants - please arrive at 9:30
- 1 crosswalk attendant- please arrive at 9:30
- 1 360 photo booth attendant- please arrive at 9:30
- 2 vendor coordinators - please arrive by 8:15
- 4 registration helpers- please arrive at 9:30
- 1 United Way table attendants- please arrive at 9:30
Would love to have Oak Ridge dance team and/or cheerleaders to be greeters and welcomers - bring pom poms, etc. and help creative a positive and supportive atmosphere Please email me at Volunteer@uwayac.org and let me know what role(s) you are interested in.
